The Southmost Regional Water Authority (SRWA) desalination plant is getting closer to finishing a major expansion. This project should be complete in the early part of 2015.

Time of Interruption: 2:30 a.m. to approximately 6 a.m.
Reason for Interruption: Tie-in of a new 8-inch water line along Paredes Line Road. This work was previously scheduled for Jan. 29 but had to be postponed to the following day.
Number affected: Approximately 300 customers in the area of Paredes Line Road and Ruben M. Torres Boulevard

The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) will conduct overnight valve maintenance work on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, beginning at 10 p.m. and ending on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at approximately 8 a.m. Residents living in the area west of North Expressway 77 from Stovall Road and spanning south to Rio Vista Avenue may see a temporary water interruption.
