The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be a water service interruption starting Friday, July 31 at 11 p.m. until approximately 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 that will affect more than 100 customers in the area of Russell Drive, Lakeside Boulevard, West Washington Street, West Elizabeth Street, West St. Francis Street, West 13th Street, West 14th Street and Power Plant Drive.
The financial outlook for the Brownsville Public Utilities Board looks good, according to recent ratings by Moody’s Investors Service and Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services.
