The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be a water service interruption starting Friday, July 31 at 11 p.m. until approximately 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 that will affect more than 100 customers in the area of Russell Drive, Lakeside Boulevard, West Washington Street, West Elizabeth Street, West St. Francis Street, West 13th Street, West 14th Street and Power Plant Drive.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) were in Brownsville to visit with members of various BPUB departments to discuss the ongoing feasibility study at the Resaca Boulevard Resaca.
