The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) asks its customers to conserve electricity today during peak demand hours between 3-7 p.m. This request is being made as part of a call to limit or reduce electrical use sent out by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).
The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be two water service interruptions this week, one on Aug. 12 and the other on Aug. 13, as crews replace fire hydrants. Each service interruption will affect approximately 100 customers each.
