BPUB Resaca Education and Outreach Coordinator Joins BPUB

BPUB has added a Resaca Education and Outreach Coordinator to its ranks thanks to a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Sadot Azzua joins BPUB with a background in outreach. Her principal purpose at BPUB is to educate residents about the importance of the Resaca Restoration Project and keep them informed about all of the efforts being done at the Old City Cemetery and the Cemetery Resaca. BPUB: 1,484 Customers without Electricity

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) crews are working to restore service to approximately 1,484 customers in northeast Brownsville. The interruption began at approximately 12:03 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 when the Brownsville Police Department reported a wire down near FM 802 and Paredes Line Road in Brownsville

BPUB Awards First Check in GreenBusiness Program

BPUB’s GreenBusiness program is officially underway. Just ask Trico Products. That company was the first business to receive a rebate for updating its facility to be more energy efficient. Trico was awarded a check for $14,289 for its efforts.
