BPUB Announces Temporary Lane Closure

The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces a temporary lane closure as part of the utility’s ongoing commitment to infrastructure improvement.

The lane closure will affect Stagecoach Trail, between Queens Woods and Dennet Road, on Wednesday, June 4, starting at 9 a.m. This closure is necessary as a BPUB crew will be installing a new lateral tap on the sewer main line along Stagecoach Trail. Traffic will be reduced to two smaller lanes, and the closure is expected to end at approximately 3 p.m.

BPUB crews will install a new lateral tap on the sewer main line along Stagecoach Trail.

Motorists are asked to be vigilant for road signs in these areas. All construction dates and times are approximate, and the end date and time may vary due to the nature of weather, soil conditions and job provisions.

BPUB, Texas Department of Transportation and City of Brownsville departments have coordinated on this effort to make it a safe and efficient operation. BPUB apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
