Some BPUB Customers to Experience Water Service Interruption
The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be a water service interruption Tuesday, Nov. 28, from 10:30 p.m. until approximately 4 a.m. Wednesday, as crews replace water valves. The service interruption will affect approximately 200 customers.
Crews will be replacing water valves at the intersections of Boca Chica Boulevard and Barnard Road and Boca Chica Boulevard and Medical Drive. The area impacted by the temporary water service disruption includes the following: Boca Chica Boulevard, Marine Drive, South Coria Street, Toya Street, Resaca Boulevard, Medical Drive and McClelland Boulevard.
This work is part of BPUB’s continued commitment toward maintaining the city’s water infrastructure.
