BPUB Announces Emergency Road Closure on Morrison Road

The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) is announcing a road closure on Morrison Road between Robindale Road and North Central Avenue. Both eastbound and westbound lanes on Morrison Road will be temporarily closed as BPUB crews repair a sewer force main that was struck by a fiber installation contractor.

The closure is expected to last approximately 12 hours.

BPUB apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. We encourage drivers to plan their routes in advance and follow all posted detour signs.

Please note there are no interruptions to customer services due to these repairs.
