BPUB Announces I-69E/US77/83 Temporary Road Closure

WHEN: Sunday, May 22, 2016, from 5 a.m. to May 22, 2016, noon

WHERE: Interstate 69E/US77/83 (I-69E/US77/83) from Alton Gloor Boulevard to Ruben M. Torres Boulevard, Brownsville, Texas

WHAT: The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) will temporarily close the northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 69E/US77/83 from Alton Gloor Boulevard to Ruben M. Torres Boulevard on Sunday, May 22, 2016, from 5 a.m. to noon, while crews install a fiber optic line. Northbound and southbound traffic on I-69E/US77/83 will be detoured to Expressway 77/83 Frontage Road until work is complete.
