Temporary Power Outage in North Brownsville

Approximately 1,600 Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) customers in north Brownsville experienced a power outage at 9:49 a.m.

Crews are currently investigating the cause of the power outage and working to get power restored as soon as possible. The cold and wet weather that Brownsville has been experiencing can often result in power outages, but crews will work to minimize any time that customers will be without service.
