Some BPUB Customers to Experience Water Service Interruption

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be a water service interruption Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 10 p.m. until approximately 3 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, as crews install a fire hydrant. The service interruption will affect more than 100 customers.

 

The fire hydrant will be installed at 1714 Boca Chica Blvd. Streets impacted by the temporary water service disruption are Boca Chica Boulevard from Calle Cenizo to Palm Boulevard.  Other streets affected are Highland Drive, Old Alice Road, Aldridge Street, Pipkin Drive and Los Altos Drive (affecting the La Hacienda Apartments).  BPUB crews will install a new hydrant.
