Some BPUB Customers to Experience Water Service Interruption

The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be a water service interruption Saturday, Feb. 3, from 10 p.m. until approximately 9 a.m. Sunday, as crews replace water valves. The service interruption will affect approximately 200 customers.

Crews will be replacing water valves at South Price Road and Mackintosh Drive, at Lindale Drive and East Price Road, and at Rockwell Drive and East Price Road. The area impacted by the temporary water service disruption includes the following: South Price Road, Mackintosh Drive, Paredes Line Road, East Price Road, Lindale Drive, Eagle Drive and Rockwell Drive.

This work is part of BPUB’s ongoing water valve replacement project to maintain the city’s water infrastructure.
