Some BPUB Customers to Experience Water Service Interruption

The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be a water service interruption Thursday, Nov. 28, from 10:30 p.m. until approximately 4 a.m. Friday, as crews replace water valves. The service interruption will affect approximately 260 customers.

Crews will be replacing water valves at the intersection of West Los Ebanos Boulevard and North Camino Del Rey. The area impacted by the temporary water service disruption includes the following: West Los Ebanos Boulevard, North Camino Del Rey, Calle Condesa, Calle Duquesa, Calle Princesa, Calle Reyna, Southern Drive, and Honeydale Home and Trailer Park.

This work is part of BPUB’s continued commitment toward maintaining the city’s water infrastructure.
