Some BPUB Customers to Experience Water Service Interruption

The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announces there will be a water service interruption Tuesday, March 28, from midnight until approximately 3 a.m., as crews tie in a new water main line. The service interruption will affect approximately 150 customers.

The water main line will be tied into BPUB’s existing water main line off Pineda Boulevard. The area impacted by the temporary water service disruption includes the following streets: Pineda Boulevard, Pine Bluff Circle, Pinemore Drive, Pine Lake Circle, Pine Falls Drive, Calle Barcelona and Mesquite Wood Court. This includes Pine Wood Subdivision Sections 1, 2 and 3 as well as Mesquite Wood Subdivision.

This work is part of BPUB’s continued commitment toward improving and maintaining the city’s water infrastructure.
