BPUB: Crews Repairing Water Main

Approximately 30 Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) customers at the Victoria Garden Housing Authority complex are currently without water service today due to a broken water line in the area of Grant Street and International Boulevard. BPUB crews have closed valves in the area to stop water losses and are excavating to assess the extent of a water line rupture.

Overnight Water Valve Work to Cause Minor Interruptions

The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) will conduct overnight valve maintenance work on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, beginning at 10 p.m. and ending on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at approximately 8 a.m. Residents living in the area west of North Expressway 77 from Stovall Road and spanning south to Rio Vista Avenue may see a temporary water interruption.

BPUB: 1,484 Customers without Electricity

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) crews are working to restore service to approximately 1,484 customers in northeast Brownsville. ERCOT Discontinues Rolling Blackouts

Damaged Electrical Pole Causes Outage in Northwest Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS – A car accident early Thursday morning broke an electrical pole at Military Highway and Alton Gloor Boulevard belonging to American Electric Power (AEP).
