BPUB: 1,484 Customers without Electricity

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) crews are working to restore service to approximately 1,484 customers in northeast Brownsville. The interruption began at approximately 12:03 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 when the Brownsville Police Department reported a wire down near FM 802 and Paredes Line Road in Brownsville.

BPUB is aware of the power outage and apologizes for the inconvenience. Customers may follow the restoration progression on the BPUB website, or BPUB social media at Facebook and Twitter for real-time updates.
